Description: In honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21st), The Steam presents a special 3-part episode platforming Indigenous voices in our community.

In Part 1, Paul invites Elder John Denison to give a land acknowledgment and opening with the traditional Women’s Warrior Song. Sonya speaks with Rob who shares his Recovery story. Nigel speaks with M’Lee who talks about her experience as a practicum student from Native Education College and about the importance of culture. Jen shares a conversation with Sharon and Mary who shine a light on women's perspectives on Indigenous community and culture.
